My sense here (not having participated in your previous thread) is that either a table/view buffer is populated (requiring a TABLEREVERT() to clear it -- I've forgotten that on occasion) or another process is still executing.

Does your menu item call the same procedure as the ON SHUTDOWN command (ie, SHTDWN IN MAIN)?
