Index does not match table...

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a legacy Foxpro26a for Windows application and have run into another problem that I can't seem to resolve without the usual assistance from someone on The Thread. I would like to say that I know the sequence of events that leads up to the error, but all I can really say with any confidence is that once it crashes it will always crash at that point in the process. I'll get the 'Index does not match table. Recreate index.' error when a specific line of code tries to create an index on a table. Then if I go with Ignore or Cancel I get a Illegal Operation GP that give the module as (unknown) at 0000:00024496. At this point it blows out of Foxpro, the mouse is lost and I have to reboot to get back to where I was. I've recreated all the indexes, copied archived data files to the environment, suspended at the culpable point in code and tried to create the index in the command window (which allows me to, but still crashes when resumed) and I'm getting more and more frustrated... Any ideas? Of course this is an application that has high visibility and priority for my client and whatever help I can get quickly is very appreciated...

Regards, Renoir
