Does the "bad" machine have the same sound card, drivers, Windows setup for sound as some of the other PCs that do work or is it unique. The reason I ask is that the URL I sent you does speak specifically to the Error Code and Message you stated in your original message. It speaks to the playing of .WAV files, therefore, I'm wondering if the sound setup on that PC is flaky.
