I disagree, sure, you can use it like 2.6
That's the approach I took - makes the learning curve much better.
VFP though is much more difficult than 2.6
You could learn a 2.6 framework in a couple of weeks. No so VFP. A framework is a major undertaking whether you use someone elses, or you write your own.
