Title:
GenRepox 'Copy File' error
I have just started using GenRepox and I love the capabilities it adds to the native report writer. However I am experiencing one problem.
I have a project which used 'GenRepox' to generate a report. When I compile the application and run it in the development environment everything works fine. When I install the compiled EXE in a new directory to run as a standalone, I get the GenRepox message saying that there was an error creating a copy of the .FRX.
I have traced the error to the COPY FILE statement which copies the .FRX. The problem is that it can not find the .FRX it is trying to copy. If I place a copy of the .FRX and .FRT in the directory, the error message disappears and everything works just fine.
Is it really necessary for me to distribute a copy of each .FRX and .FRT that uses GenRepox? The compiled application already contains these files, doesn't it? Is there any way to get GenRepox to read what is in the compiled application in the same way that I can open files included in the project?
