I have a grid whose source is a view. The view may or may not contain any records depending on the parent table (its a filtered view containing child records). Bear with me, I haven't used grids much.

If I run the form and the view yields no results, no records appear in the grid as I would expect. When the parent table record pointer moves, I issue a REQUERY('view name') statement. In debug, I can verify the reccount and see when there are records in the view. But if the grid starts off with no records, subsequent movements in the parent leading to records in the view do not show up in the grid. I am issuing a grid.refresh with no effect. I'm probably missing something basic, but like I said, haven't worked with grids that much.
