Using the api to control CR is a real pain. It can be done with the help of the struct classes of Cristoph Lange available from the files section, but prepare for a whole lot of work and GPF trouble shooting. there is also documentation included which would help you with the data type conversions.

Maybe a better approach is using on of the two automation servers or the crystal reports activex control. The best implementation varies on the version used. Which version are you using ?
