In many cases, SQL-Server beats the pants off the VFP engine. Heck, Access 2000 has better SQL integration than VFP... Does'nt seem all that unbeatable, does it??? Also, VB qualifies as an OO dev environment, eventhough it does not have native inheritance. The fact is, most OO concepts can be employed in VB...
