There is a KB article on my web site that discusses Primary Keys and using a Stored Procedure for that. Also, the Referential Integrity Builder in VFP puts it's code into store procedures. Basically, anything that is used as a default value, trigger, or for field or row validation in the DBC is a good candidate for a stored procedure.
