Thanks to you and Michael for the feedback.

I've asked some IBM DB2 folks in their Dallas office to consider the pricing of DB2 workstation if only the FoxPro box was connecting to DB2. The price for DB2 workgroup is around $900. The per seat cost is $230. Depending on how you think about it, the price to add DB2 to our VFP reservation system (local tables on a Netware server at this time) would be between $1200 and $10,000. I'm pushing IBM to come up with some creative pricing that would give them a "foot-in-the-door."

I'll post a report if anything comes of this.
