Folks,

My network administrator has asked me to pass along this question, due to the nice things I always say about the gurus on the UT.

He has set up a DHCP server on an NT box, NT 4/SP 6. He has configured several NT workstations to obtain an IP # automatically, no problem.

Problem is on Win 98. When these boxes are switched to "Obtain IP Address automatically," from their current static IP setting, they will not connect to the internet. He has not changed the default gateway, which is a CISCO router that goes out to a T1.

Can anyone point us in the right direction? We're guessing it is something sadly simple, but don't know what we're missing.

As always, TIA...
