I am currently adapting a VFP5 app to work in VFP6. I have found a number of things seem to work differently in 6. But in sorting them out, I have a problem.

My app is a top level form, always on top. Some of my code is in procedures in my Main.prg. When a problem occurs in the procedure code, the edit window opens behind my main form. The app form then goes out of focus, but remains on top. I can't access the procedure code, and I can't access the application! No window tells me what the problem is, although I can see the problem line highlighted in the procedure code. The only thing I can do is press 'Esc' and cancel the program, but this sometimes takes a few presses.

This is not the way it worked in VFP 3 & 5, I have tried setting debug as 'in FoxPro Window' and 'in Debug Window' and that doesn't make any difference.

How do I set up a normal error message from VFP6?
