Yes. Every framework should have its own form manager that keeps track of these things. You can't always depend on _screen, as you have seen, and there are times when the Active Form within the context of your application is not the same as the Active Form in the VFP context. For example, if you want to do some kind of management of toolbars when one of their controls have focus, well toolbars never get focus in VFP therfore they are never the active form in VFP, but your form manager could certainly make them the active form in your application if you choose to do it that way.
