>Yup, that's me -- over sensitive. But if you read my posts going back, you'll see that I have always been this way. I like the people here, John.
>

John, it has nothing to do with liking or disliking people. That is my point, it always comes down to personal issues with you....

>My posts and my slant on issues have not changed one iota since becoming a sysop. If Michel required that, I would not be a sysop. I am never going to say what I don't believe.
>

Really??? I think we have had some private conversations where, shall I say, you were a bit more candid than you would be in public??????? We'll leave it at that.... And, having been a sysop, you are DEFINITELY constricted by what you can and cannot say. That is why I am not a sysop anymore....

>But I do believe that we all can't be perfect. Ted Roche made an interesting comment to me not long ago: He said that no one can claim that they had done more than a few enterprise apps since VFP was released. Therefore, no one knows everything and mistakes occur.
>

Nobody here is making the argument that one, especially me, is perfect. Hell, I am far from it. Then again, there is a difference between being perfect, and propping yourself up as a technical expert, and giving advice that is flat out bad advice, and worse yet, cannot admit the fact that one is wrong. There is too much of that here. On many occasions, I have been proven wrong.. Nick did it the other day with the printing stuff. It is no big deal with me. Unlike many, I freely admit when I am wrong, or proven wrong. There are those up here however, that cannot do the same, Whether it is a lack of self-confidence, or a self-esteem thing, I don't know..

>Personally, I know I make dumbass mistakes. A bunch of us do. I think it's the way we handle those mistakes that counts. When I see someone make an error I generally dont' call it to anyone's attention publicly.
>

Well, it is a technical forum, or at least, it is supposed to be one. If you see a mistake in a post, and don't draw attention to it, you are not doing your job... It is not supposed to be a popularity contest. However, I get lots of support for what I do... That must say something...
