Thanks for the heads up, Neil. You can get the processor from SYS(17), however, I'm note sure what it'll return from an AMD or Cyrix. On my PII, it simply returns "Pentium". However, the registry for Win 98 SE does contain manufacturer info. I'll play around with those functions, however and post back (unless you beat me to it< g >).
