John,

I very much intended to send the post to you. We had a very long discussion in this thread...and it was one of the things that prompted some of the other postings (so, I'm already involved in this discussion). Go back and read my post again and you'll see that I was supporting you. My point was, if you or anyone else is having a discussion with me...it is up to me to say if I feel it was getting personal...not someone who is out there lurking. One of the primary concepts of communications is how a message is interpreted...not how it is said. FWIW, I don't feel that your posts to me have been personal. You may feel that I'm the biggest dork in the world...and that's fine if you do...(I don't think your posts to me have come across with that tone)...or you may feel that I have some validity in what I say...that's ok too.

As for proposing how to respond...I don't think anyone should make personal attacks against others here. I agree with what other people have stated...if there is something that is technically incorrect with a posting, correct the technical inaccuracies, but don't make things personal. This is a general statement directed to everyone...and I stated that in my previous post.
