Yeah, . . . I'm using 'Thisform.release' between forms . . . the problem is not about 'modal'. . . .the problem concerns the grid. Can you elborate . . about the grid not displaying . . .

This exe runs fine, but since this exe is a piece of a bigger application, I tried to "DO FORM" this MAIN form from a command button on a MASTER form that will be a sort of "launch pad" for the application.

I had the problem initially with MAIN and this grid, solving it by using 'READ EVENTS' after the 'DO FORM' and 'CLEAR EVENTS' in the Unload method of the form with the troublesome grid.
