I'm not really surprised that more people took the desktop, but everyone should take the distributed, even if they think they won't pass. Nancy Folsom had a good comment on a newsgroup posting. She said she learned lots in preparing for the distributed exam and would be using that information in the design of desktop apps. If you haven't taken the Distributed Exam, what are you waiting for?
