Hi Evan,

In addition to changing the VFP help file setting to point to foxhelp.chm, try this: on the Windows start menu, go to "Programs > Microsoft Developer Network > MSDN Library - Collection Settings" and verify that the MSDN Collection is set to the desired entry on the drop-down list of available collections.

FWIW, this was my experience... when I had the VFP help file setting pointing to MSDNVS6a.col instead of foxhelp.chm, the F1 key and certain context help (for example, "help" from the right-click menu on the property sheet) were inoperative. However, from the Help menu all four items (Microsoft Visual FoxPro Help Topics, Contents, Index, and Search) worked and brought up the MSDN Library. Changing the VFP help file setting to foxhelp.chm restored the F1 and context help functionality. On the help menu, the "...Topics" item now links directly to foxhelp.chm, while the other three items are still linked to the MSDN Library (Oct. 99, in my case).

Hope this helps.
