Thats the prevailing thing in the membrane. I'm just getting to that particular detail.
Big Questions:
How does active doc know what DNS and what work area on DNS to use?
How does active doc talk to front end of server?
How does server front end (COM?/CGI?) talk to server back end (the DBFs)?
How does back end return to stuff to the client?
How does is an active doc application deployed?
You basic, rudimentary points of interest on this stuff. I worked some pretty good published stuff on creating an active document, and connecting a local dbf to it.
