Just a quick follow up on your mention of VFPCOM. Here it really isn't appropriate. What's happening is that the data is in cross-tables in spreadsheets. Further, there's some additional data that has to be added to each row. This information is entered in VFP for ease of use. Some of the particulars are stored in tables. Anyway, to make a long story short, handling this from VFP will be the way to go for me.
