It really is a hybrid between thin and fat client. The user still needs the VFP runtime on their PC. If you are developing in an Intranet environment, ActiveDocs may be a solution, but never for Internet applications.

ActiveDocs were strategic for MS about two years ago, but are no longer being pushed. DHTML, XML, and ADO are the way things are going now.
