>I'm begginning to modify SBT Pro 5 (VFP), but the programming style is very strange, at least to me. Does anyone knows a book, reference material or course to learn more about the programming. The technical reference that comes with PRO 5 does not cover that much about how the thing get done, just structures, and global variables. Help anybody.

Hi Nelson.

I have worked on a SBT Pro 5 Payroll system to make some modifications. I thought that since it was in VFP it would be very easy to make changes. Boy was I wrong. I ended up creating a "reports" menu that the users can run to do some of the custom reporting. (However, this does not help if files need to be updated.)

From what I've seen of SBT you can not learn anything from a book that will help you understand SBT code. It seems that much of it is "leftovers" from the old dBase days. Plan on spending hours stepping through the code! If you have specific questions about PR I might be able answer a question or two.
