Dave,
The problem is that there is no consistancy to when/where it dies. The only thing in common is it usually is trying to instanciate a form class, but it may be one of the objects on the form. However, it dies in complex forms and in very simple forms, with only a label and a textbox.
Right now, I don't even have access to a machine that it even fails on. The problem never occured until SP3 for VS6 was installed. I made it go away on my development machine by uninstalling ALL of VS6, reinstalling VS6, reapplying SP3. As I stated before, the only common denominator that I see is that all the machines that I know of this failure occuring, had Adobe Acrobat version 3 installed on them.
I truly believe it some kind of .DLL update conflict between VFP6 and AA3. And ever since that, my AA3 does flakey things that it didn't do before. What exactly it is, I still don't know. I'll be updating AA to version 4 soon, maybe things will change! :)
