So, the suer either, presses home to move the insertion point ot eh beginnign of the control, or uses the mouse to position the insertion poitn or presses End to move the insertion point to the end on teh contents, or ...
Hmmm ... is there a Windows standard on this then? Cause in some conditions in some applications, the left arrow will unhighlight text and place the cursor at the beginning of the previously highlighted text. Same with right arrow but at the end. E.g. highlighted text in a Word document or the Address box in IE ... or would you say these applications are also handling these special situations programmatically?
