As a novice programmer, I learned to zero on certain author's responses here because I found out who was credible and who (to put it nicely) wasn't. JVp was a credible poster and still is. But when I find a "soap opera" going on, I really don't bother to look any further. So while there may have been solid technical advice, I don't see it because I moved on.
UT has helped me to many times to count but lately it's starting to sound like high school all over again (and that was only 5 years ago).
