If one looks at how Quicken has done some combo boxes, it is very similar to that approach only I have a grid. I also do the color changing like Quicken so that the user can see how many letters have been typed.

Steve (and Michael) I've got one patterned on Quicken also, but you can set it to look at a combo instead of a grid (whichever is more useful), and I just added array-filled combos (Ascan, not Seek) as well. I hadn't thought of changing the color, though, Steve - mind if I adopt it?

Thanks,
Barbara
