>That is perfectly understood. I just finished a college class in VB and the class was full of people who knew everything and you didn't dare tell them they were really wrong. Except I did. Frequently. Now, I'm not a favorite among those people but, hey, a popularity contest wasn't my purpose. Getting the record straight was. I believe that this is the same stance you have so I wouldn't knock it. :)

Those folks are still students, and they are not up on a public forum dispensing advice. Well, they might, but they are not doing it in your class. So, I might cut them a little slack....
However, when you deal with folks that do dispense advice, then it becomes a different matter all together. When you do it, I belieive a fiduciary responsbility exists. I am a professional consultant, so I take this all a bit seriously. It is the same thing when a doctor or a lawyer dispense bad advice. Sure, you pay them a fee, and you would not stand for that. When folks give bad advice, and they profess to be consultants, indepedent or otherwise, it makes us all look bad. This is my attempt at weeding out the crap. What's the old saying: you need to break a few eggs to bake a cake...
Have a nice holiday season!!
