I think you are overlooking something... if not, you are reporting unsolicited random record deletion. If this was really a VFP bug, and not something that your software did on accident, I have a feeling, VFP wouldn't have too many fans.

Get a finer fin tooth comb, and keep looking. The fact that the deleted records are related says that it is not random, but systematic. Figure out what is in common with the deleted records, and put on your detective cap. I don't think that this is a question we can answer for you. Good luck.
