I have a repeatable problem, duplicated on two NT machines with different CDR's, both using the Adaptec Easy CD Creator sofware (version 3.5c).

If I select certain folders containing scx/sct files, either by using the wizard or drag/drop, the sct/scx files do not appear in the CD layout or physically on the CD-ROM when recorded. If I multiselect the contents of the folder and drop it on the layout, the scx/sct files are copied o.k..

Switching recording systems between Joliet and ISO doesn't affect the problem.

This only happens on some folders, I experimented with the Tastrade samples and the scx/sct's tranferred ok when their parent folder or higher was selected. I can see no difference in attributes for the files that do and the files that don't. There is no help on either the Adaptec or HP sites.

Anyone else experienced this or know the cause? TIA
