I think that we worked out that it was; IAC, without hardware support, you can't boot NT from a stripe set (although some SCSI-based hardware RAID controllers completely virtualize the RAID0 or RAID5 array so it appears to the operating system to be a single disk.) It was probably a combination of a BIOS limitation, and the limitation on NT not handling the drive with the original ATAPI driver.
