You know my standpoint on this, I have no reason to discuss this as a whole again. But I've got the impression you use normalized tables only. Is this true ? How do you think about de-normalisation. Virtually none of my databases are normalized, just out of performance isues, the history problem and the possibility to correct your database into a consistent state I frequently add redundant data.
