We are designing a web extension to an application (using foxisapi or rick strahl solution). Our current possible design implies that one single "persistent" vfp com object to be loaded once from IIS.

Then upon proper "activation" (user_id and password) this object will duplicate a bunch of db server tables into temp cursors via odbc, ready to produce its lot of http/html with no external admin.

In this config, the speed of foxisapi is really impressive (.00x sec per transaction) :) However this singlemode com server - that took a few minutes to load its data - must remain active then for a series of weeks.

Does anyone experienced a FOXISAPI COM DLL or EXE staying quietly in NT4 memory for weeks without a halt... No reloading, no crash.

We have no experience - just some crash tests here - and a few doubts about persistent.

Merry Christmas to all.
