A good example is your scenario where you overload the Init() of a grid, and then subsequently call the Init() to re-run the code. That is bad design. If you wan't to do it for yourself, fine. However, when you discuss it up here, as you did in a reply to me, you are going to questioned by me... I feel the need to compensate for situations where another, less experienced person reads that post by you and says "hey, that is a good idea.." Hopefully, they will see the Next hyperlink and see my message, outlining why something like that is NOT a good idea....

I am not going to do the same. You still don't understand the difference. Let me explain again.
When I came to this forum 3 years ago and started answer questions I had no idea what MVP stands for. Well, when I was nominated (you can call it non-deserved, it's your opinion, below I will explain why it's not important for me) yes, I was pleasantly surprised. However, this status did not change my life. I don't go to conferences, I don't write articles. I have never seen one MVP alive. Well, I don't see many VFP programmers alive. I work on my own, and when I write next application, it does not matter do I have this status or not. It's still the same work, the same designing the same development etc.
Probably, you feel offended that your contributions (books, speaker's appearances etc.) got evalueted by the same title. Well, look at one thing: American Revolution abolished all titles in this country. They did not know about MVP that time :-).
Shortly speaking, it does not matter for me what status I have. Regardless to this I will do what I did before, or will decide myself what to do in future. I don't care what color of enevelop is on my posts. If Michel is reading this, he can feel free to change that color. It will not change neither my mind nor my behaviour.
This is big world and small VFP boat. Vast majority of people, even vast majority of programmers have no idea what MVP means. You put too much on this.
Sorry, if you still don't understand.
