If you mean operating system level traps, you're hosed; the operating system terminates VFP without letting any code in the app continue - it's an attempt to prevent an application, which has already tried to do something not permitted, from continuing to ask to do bad things. The same applies to an instance of VFP closed down by TerminateProcess().

As far as clean up - depending on what state anything with pending writes was left in, the effects are not predictable; there might well be nothing wrong, I'd want to have the last backup on hand.
