Hi Cetin,

It's really nice to communicate with you again.

>> BTW, I found, that I really was wrong with my INLIST() expression in my btcc_edit class (it was the way I described you INLIST(zipcode,'12234,3131'), so I need to fix it. It's easy within existing class, but I'll probably switch.

Hi Nadya,

In our database we store zipcode as 5 digits in character field and we also have field plus4 for additional 4 digits. But I want to select only by zipcodes, so I need only 5 digits.

Actually, all this long thread was to convince me, that I'm doing wrong, using editbox for user's input, even if validation was not BR and was totally my own idea. Unfortunately, I spent already time, designing my class, besides my application works fine, so what's why I was so nervious to switch. And also I still feell not absolutely confident that the approaches, that very respectful UT members advised me, will not lead me into much trouble, that I already have.

So, right now I decide, that in my fiture application I definitely would use these approaches, but existing perhaps leave the way it is now.
Hopefully, no one will blame me anymore...

Yes, I know that. And about 24 limitations also (thanks Ed. Pikman).

this was a rather long thread I could only read this one (kind of a jump in:).

Have a nice holidays and a great millenium!
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
