A few questions...
Is there anyway to save a print preview to a file that
can be viewed in the future?
Also, I am having a bit of a problem:
I am printing some reports to ascii text files (using the
command Set Printer to
and then ?, ??, ???, etc.
To preview these files (including ugly printer escape codes)
I am just invoking Notepad....but I have a few reports that
are too big for Notepad (I'm using Windows for Workgroups)
so I tried the command Modify File ...the problem
is that word wrap is set on by default and my long lines
of condensed print are wrapped...so it is nearly impossible
to read...and I can turn word wrap off when I am on my
machine (so the reports look fine when previewed) using the
choice under the Options dialog and Edit tab, but I don't
know how to turn word wrap off for the distributed
application. When the end user previews the report, it
looks bad.
Any ideas?
Also, does anyone have a suggestion for a Windows text
editor that will load large files? (That is soloution
#2).
Thanks in advance...
