>Yup...that is basically what happened. I found out that the tabs driver *REQUIRES* _SCXDRV5=TABS.PRG to be in the CONFIG.FPW. It will NOT work if you put that SCXDRV5 statement in the setup code.

I have been using genscrnx and tabs driver for quite a while and have no reference to the tabs.prg in my config.fpw. My apps seem to work just fine.
