>Ed, I will be soon releasing some foxpro classes that allow complete programmatic control over the printers from foxpro. With the classes, you could design your own printer dialog form and programmaticly set any printer options to any printer hooked up to the computer or network.

>I am already using this for a project, and believe me when I say, I have never had to throw up a printer dialog to send a report to any printer connected to any machine I have tried this on. This includes setting changing the printer settings, such as orientation, paper size, duplexing, color, etc... This is everything any visual foxpro programmer has wanted when it comes to printing.

>Just for info, the way I am doing this is very similar to what you are doing, by getting the expr, tag and tag2 info. The difference is, I can programmaticly build the information those fields. Then, at run time the report.frx is copied to a temp.frx and the fields are set with the new info.

Rob,

I don't want to have to re-invent the wheel; especially a MS wheel <g>.

I'd be very interested.

Thanks,

Ed
