The MS samples basicially suck... Alot of the bad rap that VB gets at times can be traced to the poor quality of the VB code in those samples. The fact is, you DO NOT need a data control to do this work. All of this can be done in code, and is perferred method.
>I'm a VB newbie alright. According to the samples on the MS datagrid, you need the DC to bind the grid to ADO. So that's what I've been doing, even though I don't show it in my forms. But thanks for the interview tip, I may be needing it.
