Is this preclusion application wide, or just to the routine that creates the aproximately 65,000 variables. At the risk of crossing into another thread, what I am asking is:

Is this 65,000 limit representing the size of a underlying symbol table of some sort for the whole of a VFP application, or is there a separate one for PUBLIC's and then one each for each routine's PRIVATE's and LOCAL's, or am I way off?

I understand the bad design ramifications of code that flirts with this limit, just curious about the underlying structure of VFP.
