In our application we defind the edit commands of cut,copy and paste using the _med_ etc functions. These work fine in edit fields on a form,etc, but are not available in the getx() (expression builder) function. If getx() is executed from the command window, with the VFP menu up, the cut and paste commands work fine. However, once I envoke our application menu, this is no longer the case.

I have tried defining a popup edit window with the hot keys after my menu call and the results are the same.

I have traced the problem to the "Set sysmenu to" which is the first line produced by the menu builder. After this command is issued, I am unable to redefine my cut and paste keys and have them recognized in getx().

I would appreciate any ideas that anyone may have.
