It happens far more often in Win9x than in NT form what I've seen, and seems to happen to static-prone systems far more often than properly grounded machines with a static discharge pad in use.

Now that I think of it, I've seen it in other apps too. (Outlook) Since I spend most of my day in VFP, I thought it might be related. I have a boss who likes to blame all screwups on VFP, even when VFP is not at fault.
