Belive me this is not an offense too just an opinion to a CC. I'm not against public vars provided a variable is needed at all (how could I. The framework I "have to" use, uses unbelievably numerous public vars:).
OTOH thinking Randy wants to track "appended" (not Currec) I see no need to create a variable either public or a property (even there could be no buffering - provided he doesn't save any "all blank" record).
