You almost had me. My first reaction was, "Ok, if the test findings are part of the given, then the whole thing is sound".

Then I had a second thought: Why should I agree with the any of the message if it has flaws in it? How am I to know which parts are correct, and which parts are not? You didn't say "if tests show X", you said "tests show X". As far as I can tell, "tests don't show X".

And will you please answer the question, "What tests?" In your book you mentioned .001 vs. .01 seconds. Where did you get those numbers?

If you don't answer that, I have to believe that you made up those numbers based on the assumption that it would be faster, and now you won't admit that it was an incorrect assumption.
