I found problems when instantiating a form if I had explicit references to alias in the controlsource of objects on the form. I was using the form's load method to create the referenced alias' based on dynamic criteria and then pass back to the parent's load event. This worked fine in VFP 5.0 but when I went to 6 it bailed before the load event fired. I eventually moved the code to the dataenvironments.beforeopentables method and that seems to have taken care of my problem.
