Y2K Greetings!

The project I'm working on has several tables that are part of a database. Reindexing the tags is fine so long as the CDX itself is not corrupt. But if the CDX is toast I want to delete the file and then recreate it. Opening the table with a missing CDX has become problematic because VF6 complains that there are problems with the database and that it needs to be validated.

Seems like a chicken-egg scenario. This of course is not even an issue for free tables. I'm sure that I am missing something obvious here. Could someone help me see the light?

Cheers, Harry
