Hi Bill,

aha, that pool are you referring to. A handle is the address within this handle pool. The pool contains 4 bytes per handle and points to a structure for the particular object. For example, a WHANDLE is such a VFP object handle, as is a string, or an object. You can use FoxTools to get some handles, like the _WOnTop() fucntion to get the handle for the top-most window. You can then use a tool like ClsHeap to examine the structures in memory, if you wish. :)
