That's what I thought too until I tried to demonstrate it to someone. When I failed to be able to produce a working example, I examined what was going on, and came to the conclusion that my assumption didn't take into account everything the real world imposes. At that point I realized that I was wrong, regardless of what my 10 years and your 20 years of experience had lead me to believe.
