Hi Mike,

I'm late to this thread, but....

>>What are some suggestions for hooking up two computers to the internet through one cable modem? The computers can be networked Peer-to-Peer or whatever is best. One is Win95 and the Other is WinNT Workstation 4.0.

You could get Win98 Second Edition upgrade, which has a built-in proxy server. Install it on the Win95 machine, install network card, drivers, and TCP/IP, then go to Control Panel, Windows Setup and install Internet Connection Sharing. That will run a wizard to set up the main dial-out computer, which will have the cabele modem connection, and will create a client configuration disk for the other computer.

You just need to check if the "other" computer can be NT. I just did one of these with two Win95 machines and it works just fine. The client computer does NOT have to be Win98SE.
